Fresh bakery bread on a counter

The floor What breaks on a bakery counter?

Three places a bakery queue fails before the guest has paid.

Custom cakes

A bakery loses the order on a custom cake. The guest wants a two-pound chocolate fudge cake for tomorrow at 6 p.m., eggless, with "Happy Birthday Ayan" in blue icing. If that note lives on a paper chit taped to the till, flour and cream wipe it out. The baker reads vanilla or the wrong name, and the guest arrives with a ruined cake.

The daily tray

The tray is the next break. Morning bread sells out while cream buns sit until close and get thrown away. Yesterday's sales never made a prep list, so the same waste returns next week.

When the line drops

Evening broadband in Dhaka and Chattogram drops while people are still at the glass. A till that waits on the internet holds the queue. Riser POS rings everyday items in one tap each and parks a custom cake on a named open ticket. Startup sends that ticket to a kitchen printer. Plus can show it on a kitchen display. The Android counter still bills if the network drops. A dining room with many courses should use the restaurant table walk.

One sale How does one bakery order move from the first tap to the day's report?

Everyday bread on the counter, a custom cake parked on an open ticket, then pickup and the day's report.

Riser POS billing screen on a tablet
  1. Ring the everyday counter sale

A guest buys one loaf of sandwich bread, two croissants, and a chocolate slice. The cashier taps each item. Payment closes now: cash, card, or mobile banking. Takeaway is the dining mark. The receipt prints, and the till is free for the next person.

  2. Park the custom cake

The next guest books a two-pound chocolate fudge cake for tomorrow at 6 p.m., eggless, message "Happy Birthday Ayan". The cashier taps the cake, the weight, the eggless modifier, and the icing note. They take an advance as a partial payment and save the order as an open ticket named for the pickup, such as Ayan Birthday 6PM. The balance waits until tomorrow.

  3. Send the bench ticket

Startup, at ৳1,000 a month, sends a kitchen ticket to the printer at the bench. The baker reads two-pound, fudge, eggless, and the message, the same text that will be on the bill. Plus, at ৳2,000 a month, can show that ticket on the kitchen display as well. A small counter with one baker can live on the printer. The display is for a longer pass where paper slips go missing.

  4. Close at pickup

At pickup the cashier opens Ayan Birthday 6PM, takes the remaining balance, and closes the ticket. The receipt shows the total, the advance, and what was paid at the counter. The café guide is an open drink ticket while a guest sits. The juice bar guide is size, sweetness, and add-ins on a cup.

  5. Close the bill and the day

If broadband drops during the evening queue, the Android till can still close the bill and sync when the connection returns. Confirm that with the printer and the tablet Dimdul will install. Ask on the demo whether flour and butter should count down when a cake sells. Gross profit on the restaurant install shows when a recipe cost is set. Unsold trays at close can be adjusted in stock when Dimdul shows that step. The day's report uses what was sold and what was paid, including advances still open.

Pricing Which Riser POS plan fits a bakery?

Food businesses use the restaurant install. The fees below are the restaurant column on pricing. Prices checked 22 October 2026. Installation and training start at ৳5,000 one time on every plan. That fee covers domain, hosting, and till training. The final install number depends on outlets, hardware, and integrations. Hardware is quoted separately. This site does not take payment. Dimdul sets the till up. There is no self-serve free trial.

Startup at ৳1,000 a month is the neighborhood bakery counter. The published list is core POS billing (offline, mobile app, KOT, receipts), menu and product management, table management, reports and VAT on bills, multi payment (cash, card, mobile banking), and waiter app support. Custom cakes live on open tickets. Advances use partial payment. VAT can print on the bill. Filing a return is not described on this page.

Plus at ৳2,000 a month is the bakery that needs a kitchen display or advanced inventory. It includes everything in Startup, then multi kitchen management (KDS), advanced inventory, staff role management, QR contactless order management, analytics reports, purchase, vendor, expense, customer and salary tools, and an audit log with order approval and host stand or waitlist. Advanced inventory is where recipe cost and stock can move with the cake when Dimdul sets that up. Year one on Plus, before hardware, is the example the pricing page prints: ৳2,000 × 12 + ৳5,000 install = ৳29,000.

Pro is a custom package on top of Plus. It adds table reservations, online orders, and delivery apps, an online payment gateway with provider fees separate, accounts, multi-printer, and assets, reputation management from ৳1,500 a month, and optional add-ons from ৳500 a month, quoted per module. A bakery that only runs the counter and the bench usually stops at Startup or Plus. Foodpanda or Pathao orders are typed onto the till. They are not pulled in by themselves. A delivery-app module is a Pro question for the demo.

Scope What does this bakery page leave out?

This page is the Riser screen for a bakery: everyday bread and slices, an open ticket for a custom cake, and the plan that includes the printer or the display.

Other floors

The café guide is a seated drink with an open ticket. The coffee shop guide is the opening rush and takeaway at the door.

Packed barcode goods and loose weight on a shop till belong on retail and the grocery guide. A wholesale route with party dues belongs on dealer.

Not on this install

There is no self-order kiosk and no RFID settlement on this install. Mushak filing steps are not here. If a Mushak 6.3 report has to appear on a vendor's own page, that comparison is on Dimdul's restaurant guide. Riser prints the fee and the screens on this page: Startup ৳1,000 a month, Plus ৳2,000 a month, Pro custom, installation from ৳5,000. Other café, bakery, and tea stall software in Bangladesh is compared on Dimdul's cafe, bakery, and tea stall guide.

Before the demo

On a demo, confirm the city, the branch count, and the printers: a kitchen printer, a receipt printer, or both. Say whether the bench needs the kitchen display, and whether flour should count down with each cake. WhatsApp that list to Dimdul on 01538-004738 before the visit. The install is still the restaurant product. Full module lists stay on pricing. Every floor on the hub is on business types.

Before a demo What do bakery owners ask before a demo?
