Café counter and seating

The floor What breaks on a café counter?

Three places a café queue fails before the guest has paid.

Custom drinks

The guest wants oat milk, an extra shot, and less sugar. If that note stays in the cashier's head, the barista remakes the cup and the line gets longer. A paper chit on the cup falls off between the till and the bar. "Oat" written in a hurry gets read as a hot drink, and the guest sends it back while the next three people are still deciding.

The open seat

Many cafés take the order at the counter and the money when the guest leaves. If the first cup closes as a finished cash sale, a second coffee is a new slip with no shared name. At night the drawer, the cups, and the stock book do not agree, because nothing ties the brownie to the latte.

When the line drops

Afternoon broadband in Dhaka and Chattogram fails while people are still at the counter. A till that waits on the internet holds the cup and the guest. Riser POS puts the milk, the shot, and the sugar on the item in one tap, keeps the order open while they sit, and still bills on Android when the network drops. A dining room with many courses should use the restaurant table walk instead of this cup.

One sale How does one café order move from the first tap to the day's report?

Iced latte on Table 2, brownie added later, bill when they come back.

  1. Tap the drink and the modifiers

The guest at the counter asks for an iced latte with oat milk, an extra shot, and less sugar. They will sit at Table 2 and pay when they leave. A chocolate brownie gets added before they stand up. The cashier taps Iced latte, then the three modifiers on that item: add-ons, or how the drink is prepared, each in one tap. The dining option on the same ticket is dine-in. Takeaway is the mark for a guest who leaves with the cup. This sale is dine-in, so the ticket name has to last until they come back.

  2. Park the ticket on Table 2

Payment waits. The order is saved as an open ticket and given a predefined name, Table 2. Open tickets can be saved and edited, and the guest pays when they are ready. The brownie tapped twenty minutes later lands on Table 2, so the latte and the brownie close on one named ticket.

  3. Send the kitchen ticket

Startup, at ৳1,000 a month, sends a kitchen ticket to the printer. The barista reads oat milk, extra shot, and less sugar on that paper, the same text that will be on the bill. Plus, at ৳2,000 a month, can show the ticket on the kitchen display as well. A café with one barista and a short menu can live on the printer. The display is for a longer pass between the counter and the bar, where paper slips go missing, or for two baristas working the same queue.

  4. Close the bill and the day

When the guest comes back, the cashier opens Table 2 and prints the bill. Payment is cash, card, or mobile banking, including a split when two people pay, or a partial payment that leaves a customer due. The end-of-day report uses those records: the latte and the brownie under what was sold, and the amount under what was paid. If broadband drops while Table 2 is still open, the Android till can still close the bill and sync when the connection returns. Confirm that with the printer and the tablet Dimdul will install. A waiter walking the room uses the waiter app, which is on Startup. A one-person counter can stay on the till.

Guests who order from the table on their own phone need QR contactless orders, which are on Plus, as are the host stand and the waitlist for a café that holds names when every seat is taken. A counter that only parks Table 2 can stay on Startup. If Saturday service already loses paper tickets between the till and the bar, the kitchen display on Plus is the screen you are buying. Ask on the demo whether oat milk should count down on each latte. Gross profit on the restaurant install shows when a recipe cost is set.

Pricing Which Riser POS plan fits a café?

Food businesses use the restaurant install. Fees match the restaurant column on pricing. Prices checked 22 October 2026. Installation from ৳5,000 one time. Dimdul sets the till up. There is no self-serve free trial.

Startup fits a small counter: modifiers, open tickets, and kitchen tickets on the iced latte sale. VAT can print on the bill; filing a return is not on this page.

Plus is for a café that needs a kitchen display or QR orders. Year one before hardware: ৳2,000 × 12 + ৳5,000 install = ৳29,000.

Pro is uncommon for a counter-and-seat café. Most stop at Startup or Plus. Foodpanda or Pathao orders are typed onto the till; a delivery-app module is a Pro demo question.

Scope What does this café page leave out?

This page is the Riser screen for a seated or counter café: one custom drink, an open ticket while the guest sits, and the plan that includes the printer, the display, or the QR menu.

Other floors

The coffee shop guide is the opening rush, the usual order on a customer profile, and takeaway marked for the door queue. A flat white at 8 a.m. is a different ticket from Table 2's iced latte.

Loose items, custom birthday cakes, and daily trays belong in the bakery guide. Weight barcodes are a retail screen. Cake by the slice can sit on Table 2 as a menu item next to the latte.

Not on this install

There is no self-order kiosk and no RFID settlement. Mushak filing steps are not here. If a Mushak 6.3 report has to appear on a vendor's own page, that comparison is on Dimdul's restaurant guide.

Riser prints the fee and the screens on this page: Startup ৳1,000 a month, Plus ৳2,000 a month, Pro custom, installation from ৳5,000. Other café software in Bangladesh is compared on Dimdul's cafe, bakery, and tea stall guide.

Before the demo

Confirm the business type, the city, the branch count, and the printers: a kitchen printer, a receipt printer, or both. Say whether Table 2 is enough or the bar needs the kitchen display, and whether guests should order by QR.

WhatsApp that list to Dimdul on 01538-004738 before the visit. The install is still the restaurant product. Full module lists stay on pricing. Every floor on the hub is on business types.

Before a demo What do café owners ask before a demo?

Riser POS is the restaurant till Dimdul Ltd installs for a café in Bangladesh. Startup is ৳1,000 a month for a small counter. Plus is ৳2,000 a month when the bar needs a kitchen display or QR orders. Prices checked 22 October 2026.

Oat milk, an extra shot, and less sugar are modifiers on the iced latte, each chosen in one tap. Startup sends that text on the kitchen ticket to the printer. Plus can also show the same ticket on the kitchen display. The bill uses that ticket.

Yes. Save the order as an open ticket and name it for the seat, Table 2 in the example on this page. Add a later item to that same ticket. Take cash, card, or mobile banking when the guest is ready. If broadband drops, the Android till can still close the bill and sync when the connection returns.

Plus, at ৳2,000 a month. Startup at ৳1,000 a month includes billing, the kitchen ticket, tables, the waiter app, and offline selling. Startup does not include the kitchen display or QR contactless orders. Pro is a custom package and adds reservations, online orders, and delivery apps on top of Plus. Prices checked 22 October 2026.

This page is the café floor. The restaurant page is the product install and the dining-room walk. The coffee shop guide covers the opening rush and takeaway. The bakery guide covers bread, daily trays, and custom cakes. The buying guide for a café, a bakery, and a tea stall stays on Dimdul.
