Departmental store aisle

The floor What breaks on a departmental store counter?

Three places a departmental floor fails before the guest has paid.

Aisle notebooks

A departmental floor spans toiletries, stationery, packed food, and household goods under one roof. When each aisle keeps its own notebook, one section reorders boxes that already sit in the godown, while stationery runs out during exam week.

The mixed basket

The mixed basket is the next break. A guest brings handwash, notebooks, biscuits, and a food container to one till. Looking up prices on a laminated sheet slows the line and invites wrong totals.

Which aisle sold

A drawer total at close also hides which aisle sold. Shared logins make a short drawer hard to own. Evening broadband drops freeze a cloud-only till. Riser POS Retail scans barcode lines from several categories on one bill, files products under the published category caps, and can keep billing offline until the line returns. Ask on the demo which category sales report Dimdul will show for your aisles.

One sale How does one departmental store sale move from mixed aisles to the day's report?

Several categories on one bill, and the day's sales by category.

Riser POS billing screen on a tablet
  1. Four aisles

A guest arrives with four items from different aisles: a turmeric packet, a handwash refill, a pack of ballpens, and a plastic food container.

  2. One mixed bill

The cashier scans each barcode, or taps an item that has a store tag. All four lines sit on one bill under their catalog categories. Payment is cash, card, or mobile banking. The receipt lists the items. Stock moves with the sale.

  3. Category and the day

The day's report uses what was sold and what was paid. Category sales follow how products were filed in the catalog. Separate staff logins within the plan's user cap help show who closed which bills. Confirm the close screens with Dimdul. If broadband drops on a Friday rush, the Android or Windows till can still close the bill and sync when the connection returns. Pro adds multi-register when two counters share the same catalog.

Pricing Which Riser POS plan fits a departmental store?

Departmental shops use the retail install. The fees below are the shop column on pricing. Prices checked 22 October 2026. Installation and training start at ৳5,000 one time on every plan. That fee covers domain, hosting, and till training. The final install number depends on outlets, hardware, and integrations. Hardware is quoted separately. This site does not take payment. Before the demo

On a demo, confirm the city, how many categories you carry, and whether you need one register or more. WhatsApp that list to Dimdul on 01538-004738. The install is still the retail product. Full module lists stay on pricing. Every floor on the hub is on business types.
