Clothing store racks and hangers

The floor What breaks on a fashion and clothing store counter?

Three places a clothing counter fails before the guest has paid.

Size and color

A clothing counter loses the sale when stock is only a total count. A shirt comes in several sizes and colors. If every sale logs as "cotton shirt," the till says eight remain while the rack holds only size 38 in maroon. The guest who wants size 42 in navy walks out.

Returns on the bill

Returns are the next break. After Eid or a gift week, someone brings back a size M and wants a size L on the same visit. If the return is cash from the drawer and a note in a diary, the rack never gets the piece back and the night count is wrong.

When the line drops

Evening broadband in Dhaka and Chattogram also drops while people wait with clothes from the fitting room. A till that waits on the internet holds the line. Riser POS Retail manages variations such as size and color, handles a return or exchange with stock that stays accurate, and can keep billing offline until the line returns. Ask on the demo how hangtags and barcodes will be set for your rack. A grocery or jewelry counter should use those guides instead.

One sale How does one clothing sale and variant exchange move from barcode scan to the day's report?

Size and color variants, and a return on the same bill.

  1. Shirt, pant, and return

A guest brings a size L navy shirt and a size 34 khaki pant to the till, and also returns a size M olive polo bought two days earlier, wanting the return against tonight's purchase.

  2. Scan variants and return

The cashier scans the shirt and the pant. Each line is the size and color variant that sold. They add the returned polo as a return or exchange on the same bill. The return puts that size and color back into stock. The net balance is what the guest pays, in cash, card, or mobile banking, including a split when they use more than one method.

  3. Receipt and the day

The receipt can carry a return-policy line in the footer when Dimdul sets that text. Stock moves with the sale and the return. Ask on the demo whether a low-stock alert should fire when a size runs low. The day's report uses what was sold, what was returned, and what was paid. If broadband drops, the Android or Windows till can still close the bill and sync when the connection returns.
