Riser POS is the restaurant till for a coffee shop in Bangladesh. A small takeaway counter starts on Startup at ৳1,000 a month. Plus is ৳2,000 a month when the rush needs a kitchen display or saved customer tools. Dimdul Ltd installs it nationwide. Support runs from Dhaka HQ, with teams in Chattogram and Cumilla. Prices checked 22 October 2026.

Coffee bar with cups and espresso machine

The floor What breaks on a coffee shop counter?

Three places a coffee shop queue fails before the guest has paid.

The opening rush

The pain at a coffee shop is the opening rush. At 8 a.m. the line is out the door. Regulars want the usual order. The cashier already knows the cup, but the note lives in their head. A size shouted over the machine becomes the wrong drink. The guest sends it back while the next three people are still deciding, and the queue moves to the shop next door.

Paper on the lid

Paper makes it worse. A chit stuck on the lid falls off between the till and the bar. "Oat" written in a hurry gets read as a hot drink. Two cups leave the pass with no name, and the person at the door takes the wrong one. The remake never shows on a report, because the first sale was already closed as cash.

When the line drops

The line also drops. Morning broadband in Dhaka and Chattogram fails while people are still at the counter. A till that waits on the internet holds the cup and the guest. Riser POS keeps that order short: the usual build on the item, a customer profile that already holds it, and a receipt in one step. Takeaway is marked on the ticket so the bar knows who is waiting. Offline billing covers the morning if the connection fails. A seated café with an open ticket belongs on the café guide. A dining room with many courses should use the restaurant table walk.

One sale How does one coffee shop order move from the first tap to the day's report?

Flat white with oat milk, takeaway, paid at the counter.

Riser POS billing screen on a tablet
  1. Open the usual on the profile

A regular steps up at 8:10 and asks for the usual: a flat white with oat milk, takeaway, paid at the counter. The cashier opens that guest's customer profile. The profile shows what they ordered before, the flat white with oat milk. Loyalty on that profile only when Dimdul turns it on at setup. The cashier taps Flat white, then the oat milk modifier on that item in one tap. The dining option on the same ticket is takeaway. This sale leaves with the cup, so takeaway is the mark the bar needs.

  2. Name the takeaway ticket

Payment closes now. The ticket is named for the person at the door, so the barista can call the right cup. That name is a predefined ticket name on the restaurant till, the same tool a café uses for Table 2, used here for a standing guest. The order is not parked as an open ticket while someone sits. The iced latte on Table 2 with a brownie added later lives on the café page. This flat white closes when the guest pays.

  3. Send the kitchen ticket

Startup, at ৳1,000 a month, sends a kitchen ticket to the printer. The barista reads flat white and oat milk on that paper, the same text that will be on the receipt. Plus, at ৳2,000 a month, can show the ticket on the kitchen display as well. A counter with one barista and a short menu can live on the printer. The display is for a loud pass where paper slips go missing, or for two baristas on the same morning queue. Coffee shops that already run a pass screen are on the success stories page.

  4. Close the bill and the day

The cashier takes cash, card, or mobile banking at the counter and prints the receipt in the same step. The end-of-day report uses those records: the flat white under what was sold, and the amount under what was paid. After the rush, that report shows which drinks actually moved. If broadband drops while the line is still at the door, the Android till can still close the bill and sync when the connection returns. Confirm that with the printer and the tablet Dimdul will install.

  5. Till, waiter, or QR

A one-person counter can stay on the till. A waiter walking a few seats uses the waiter app, which is on Startup. Guests who order from a seat on their own phone need QR contactless orders, which are on Plus. Ask on the demo whether oat milk should count down on each flat white, and whether the saved regular on the profile is available on Startup or only with the customer tools on Plus. Gross profit on the restaurant install shows when a recipe cost is set.

Pricing Which Riser POS plan fits a coffee shop?

Food businesses use the restaurant install. The fees below are the restaurant column on pricing. Prices checked 22 October 2026. Installation and training start at ৳5,000 one time on every plan. That fee covers domain, hosting, and till training. The final install number depends on outlets, hardware, and integrations. Hardware is quoted separately. Dimdul sets the till up. There is no self-serve free trial.

Startup at ৳1,000 a month is the small takeaway counter. The published list is core POS billing (offline, mobile app, KOT, receipts), menu and product management, table management, reports and VAT on bills, multi payment (cash, card, mobile banking), and waiter app support. That list is the flat white sale: modifiers and takeaway live in billing, the kitchen ticket is the KOT, and the named ticket for the person at the door uses the same ticket tools as table management. VAT can print on the bill. Filing a return is not described on this page.

Plus at ৳2,000 a month is the coffee shop that needs a kitchen display or saved customer tools for the rush. It includes everything in Startup, then multi kitchen management (KDS), advanced inventory, staff role management, QR contactless order management, analytics reports, purchase, vendor, expense, customer and salary tools, and an audit log with order approval and host stand or waitlist. The customer tools line is where regulars and past orders sit for a busy morning. Advanced inventory is where milk and beans can move with the flat white. Year one on Plus, before hardware, is the example the pricing page prints: ৳2,000 × 12 + ৳5,000 install = ৳29,000.

Pro is a custom package on top of Plus. It adds table reservations, online orders, and delivery apps, an online payment gateway with provider fees separate, accounts, multi-printer, and assets, reputation management from ৳1,500 a month, and optional add-ons from ৳500 a month, quoted per module. A coffee shop that only runs the counter and takeaway usually stops at Startup or Plus. Foodpanda or Pathao orders are typed onto the till. A delivery-app module is a Pro question for the demo.

Scope What does this coffee shop page leave out?

This page is the Riser screen for a coffee counter at opening rush: one usual order, takeaway marked on the ticket, payment at the counter, and the plan that includes the printer, the display, or the saved regular.

Other floors

The café guide is a different floor. That pain is a custom drink on an open ticket while the guest sits, Table 2 with an iced latte and a brownie added later. A flat white at 8 a.m. paid at the door is a different ticket from that seat.

A combo with a side and a drink, and dine-in or takeaway chosen before the kitchen, is the fast food guide. Loose items, custom cakes, and daily trays belong in the bakery guide.

Not on this install

There is no self-order kiosk and no RFID settlement on this install. Mushak filing steps are not here. If a Mushak 6.3 report has to appear on a vendor's own page, that comparison is on Dimdul's restaurant guide. Riser prints the fee and the screens on this page: Startup ৳1,000 a month, Plus ৳2,000 a month, Pro custom, installation from ৳5,000. Other café and coffee software in Bangladesh is compared on Dimdul's cafe, bakery, and tea stall guide.

Before the demo

On a demo, confirm the business type, the city, the branch count, and the printers: a kitchen printer, a receipt printer, or both. Say whether the morning rush needs the kitchen display, and whether regulars should load from a customer profile on Startup or only with Plus. WhatsApp that list to Dimdul on 01538-004738 before the visit. The install is still the restaurant product. Full module lists stay on pricing. Every floor on the hub is on business types.

Before a demo What do coffee shop owners ask before a demo?

Riser POS is the restaurant till Dimdul Ltd installs for a coffee shop in Bangladesh. Startup is ৳1,000 a month for a small takeaway counter. Plus is ৳2,000 a month when the rush needs a kitchen display or saved customer tools. Prices checked 22 October 2026.

A regular's past cups sit on the customer profile. The cashier opens that profile, sees the flat white with oat milk from before, then taps Flat white and the oat milk modifier again. The kitchen ticket carries that same text. Loyalty on the profile only when Dimdul turns it on at setup.

Takeaway is the dining option on the same ticket as the drink. The ticket is named for the person waiting at the door so the barista calls the right cup. Payment closes at the counter in the same step. This is not an open ticket while a guest sits.

Startup at ৳1,000 a month covers billing, modifiers, the kitchen ticket, takeaway on the ticket, and offline Android billing. Plus at ৳2,000 a month adds the kitchen display and the customer tools line. Confirm on a demo whether the saved regular is on Startup or only with Plus. Pro is custom and adds reservations, online orders, and delivery apps. Prices checked 22 October 2026.

This page is the coffee shop floor. The café guide covers a seated sale with an open ticket. The bakery guide covers bread, daily trays, and custom cakes. The restaurant page is the product install. The buying guide for a café, a bakery, and a tea stall stays on Dimdul.
