Medicine shop shelves

The floor What breaks on a medicine shop counter?

Three places a medicine counter fails before the guest has paid.

Expiry and dues

Expired stock is money you already paid the supplier. Selling a strip while the count still shows a full box makes it worse, and customer dues in a notebook are easy to lose. When a brand is out, the counter is left with memory and a hurried substitute.

Box, strip, or piece

The pack size is the next break. Neighborhood shops sell a box, a strip, or a piece of the same SKU. If the till only knows “one item,” the shelf count drifts by the end of the week. Supplier challans and open customer balances live in separate books, so Friday night cannot say what is still owed.

When the line drops

The line also drops. A till that waits on broadband holds the queue while a regular waits for a due balance. Medicine shop POS here means one scan, the right pack unit, and a named customer due on the same bill, with Android billing that continues offline and syncs later.

One sale How does one medicine sale move from the scan to the day's report?

One packed sale, the right pack unit, and a named customer due.

  1. Strips and syrup

A regular asks for two strips of a common antibiotic and one bottle of cough syrup. They will pay part in cash and leave the rest on their account until Saturday. The dispenser scans the barcode or searches the brand, chooses strip for the antibiotic and bottle for the syrup, and confirms the batch and expiry alert the plan already lists. Stock moves in those units, not as a vague “two items.”

  2. Partial cash and due

They take cash for part of the total and assign the remainder to the customer's named account. The receipt shows what was paid and what is still due. The day's report uses those records: what was sold, cash taken, and dues still open. If broadband drops during the evening, the Android till can still close the bill and sync when the connection returns. Confirm that with the scanner and printer Dimdul will install.

  3. Related walks

A longer walk of the same counter flow is on scan a medicine and record the customer due. Supplier deliveries sit on pharmacy supplier receiving. Closing the day sits on the day's pharmacy sales and open dues.
